About Us

Simplicity, at its purest.

We are a small family winery producing natural wines and oils with no intervention and the utmost respect for the land. We farm our estates organically in Calaceite, Batea, and Corbera, and carry out winemaking in our cellar in Castellar del Vallès and olive oil production in our mill in Corbera d’Ebre. Each bottle contains landscape, honesty, and a simple, unadorned way of doing things.

Our History

Our story began around twenty years ago—almost by chance. In an attempt to escape from work, we stumbled upon a small plot of land with abandoned vines in Calaceite. We fell in love with the place and slowly began to care for it, until the vines started bearing fruit again. From those grapes came our first wines, made without additives and just for our own enjoyment. What began as a game turned into a passion… and over time, into a project we now share with those who value the natural and the authentic.

Our Terroirs

Our vineyards are located east of Calaceite (Matarraña) and south-east of Batea (Terra Alta). The vineyards are located at a height between 300 and 350 m above sea level, being that of Batea one of the highest estates in the municipality of Batea. The plots are completely protected by the forest that limits them.

Our vineyards are located east of Calaceite (Matarraña) and southeast of Batea (Terra Alta). They lie at an altitude between 300 and 350 meters above sea level, with the Batea estate being one of the highest in the municipality. The plots are fully protected by the surrounding forest.

The soils are relatively simple in terms of organic matter and have an average texture of 38.5% sand, 22% clay, and 39.5% silt. The soil type is known as “Honeycomb.”

Rainfall is low, about 500 liters per year. This, combined with our decision not to use irrigation systems, limits water availability but results in moderate vine vigor and low relative humidity — ideal conditions for maintaining vine health.

Our climate is fairly continental, with strong contrasts in temperature, humidity, and wind. These factors help the vines complete their vegetative cycle properly and without issues.

Because of this, and without dispensing with agricultural machinery, we use cover crops (native and unsown) between the rows along with natural mulches beneath the vines.

We tend the vines manually according to the lunar and sidereal cycles, with some work done following biodynamic principles. Harvesting is done by hand at night, using small boxes to keep the grapes cool and preserve their quality for winemaking. Thanks to careful vineyard management, our harvests are usually ripe and healthy, allowing for clean winemaking without the need to add anything to the musts — resulting in distinctive, authentic wines.

The Winery and Olive Mill

We have our own winery and olive mill, both certified organic, where we produce our natural wines and extra virgin olive oils with respect and without additives or chemicals.

We vinify with minimal intervention, allowing the grapes to express themselves freely. For aging, we use a combination of clay amphorae, stainless steel tanks, and used French oak barrels, always seeking balance, freshness, and authenticity.

Every decision in the winery reflects our philosophy of winemaking: unhurried, straightforward, and with deep respect for what the land provides.

We invite you to visit us, explore our space, and discover our wines from their very origin.
