From the care of the land and the plant, through the harvest and the elaboration of the final product, we try to take care of all the details to produce a wine with the highest possible quality, and all this in a natural and environmentally friendly way.

In this time of the year, leafs start to turn yellow and fall from our vineyards, revealing all kinds of wildlife that was there all along, hiding on the vines vegetation, like this amazing specimen!

En esta época del año las hojas de las cepas empiezan a volverse amarillas y a caer, revelando todo tipo de pequeños animales, que siempre habían estado ahí escondidos entre las hojas de las vides, como este magnífico ejemplar.

In this time of the year, leafs start to turn yellow and fall from our vineyards, revealing all kinds of wildlife that was there all along, hiding on the vines vegetation, like this amazing specimen!

En esta época del año las hojas de las cepas empiezan a volverse amarillas y a caer, revelando todo tipo de pequeños animales, que siempre habían estado ahí escondidos entre las hojas de las vides, como este magnífico ejemplar.

Vintage '23 journal #2:

After removing de sediments, our soon-to-be PetNat, keeps fermenting on the tank, and its fermentation progress is measured and documented each day. This is key in any PetNat. Bottle It too soon, and It is going to have too much pressure and maybe explode! Turning the cellar into a gianf glass grenade. Bottle It too late, and It is going to be almost a still wine without any bubbles. This week, our Goreti PetNat was ready to bottle, and the time window to do so was quite small, only a few hours, so we rushed to get it all done on time!

We all love a good Petnat, and ours are almost ready to bottle! One of the Petnats we're doing is the Goreti, made with skin macerated Macabeo. Because of the skin maceration, this wine has more sediments and "mud". That's why we need to be more careful than with other petnats, otherwise the disgorging would be a nightmare!
To do so, we change the must from one tank to another one, leaving the sediments on the bottom of the first tank, just gravity! No filtering!

We all love a good Petnat, and ours are almost ready to bottle! One of the Petnats we're doing is the Goreti, made with skin macerated Macabeo. Because of the skin maceration, this wine has more sediments and "mud". That's why we need to be more careful than with other petnats, otherwise the disgorging would be a nightmare!
To do so, we change the must from one tank to another one, leaving the sediments on the bottom of the first tank, just gravity! No filtering!

This years harvest has been a super early one, the earliest we remember. We usually harvest around the last week of August, and this year we have started on the 10th of August, and by now, we are almost done. This seems to be caused by the extreme conditions of this year, a heavy drought on spring, and several heat waves this summer. Recently has rained a bit cooling the ambient and making the harvest easier on us also. The grapes seem to be of very good quality, so we're expecting good wines! More to come soon.

At the beginning of July, we suffered a strong hail and lost an average of 80% (in some fields even 90%!) of Garnatxa Negra and 30% of Macabeu, they where moments of sadness and pain...

Now, the joy that we have at the moment is that the grapes that survived are very healthy and are of excellent quality, and we are very excited for the new wines we'll be making this year!

A principios de julio sufrimos una fuerte granizada y perdimos una media de 80% (¡en algunos bancales incluso del 90%!) de la garnacha negra y un 30% del macabeo, fueron momentos de tristeza y dolor...

Ahora, la alegría que tenemos en este momento es que las uvas que sobrevivieron están muy sanas y son de excelente calidad, ¡estamos muy emocionados por los nuevos vinos que haremos este año!

We're always experimenting, trying new methods and ellableations and learning new things. This is our new #PetNat, fruit of one of those experiments, and It is a very low production of a very special wine! It's made with #grenache noir from our vineyards in #calaceite that has done the first part of the fermentation in an amphora, without being pressed and with carbonic maceration!

Se trata de una pequeña tirada de un vino muy especial! Elaborado con uvas de #garnacha nuestros viñedos en Calaceite, sin prensar y que ha realizado la primera parte de su fermentación carbónica en tinaja de cerámica!
